| | Remove IT Policies from BES 4.0.x

We had several different policies in place which our old CTO had setup almost all of them were flawed in some way, take for instance some people had this one policy that would keep their emails in their exchange mail box and on the phone but would not reflect any deletion that was done on the phone in their Exchange mailbox. So I had a client calling me up after I got her to do EA again asking my "why is there 2000 emails and counting still downloading to my blackberry?", after I had her turn off her phone I took a peak into her Exchange mailbox and notice there where 35,000 email in there.. WOW!
The other issues with the other profiles pretty much steams from Exchange not keeping a copy of their emails, contacts, etc so when they have repalced their phones we have had to do the data backup and restoring. All these clients are spread out all over Canada.
So anyhow about 3 months ago I changed all their profiles over to the default one which keeps everything, which for now is good for what we need. However this week when I attempted to remove these other profiles from BES I was prompted with "this profile is attached to some ones account..." so I looked in BES and all the profiles say "default" in the column on the users. So I can't figure out what the deal is here?
