it is 2 way reconciliation like BES

mail connector - again means your computer has to be on and running at all times; allows attachments - but has 1 way reconcile IF your using BIS 2.0

your other options:
1) Outlook Web Access - can your your computer off; gets attachments; 1 way reconcile w/ BIS 2.0; OWA 2003 is supported only on BIS 2.0 as well
2) usin POP/IMAP access
3) using a forwarding rule

for these 3 options (and mail conenctor) you need to have a BIS accont

hope this helps
Just dredging up this old thread in case anyone finds it by searching. I have now tried out the Redirector and Mail Connector. I think - please correct me anyone - that the 2-way reconcile feature of Redirector only works when you connect your device via USB cable.

Also, it seems to me the only reasons to use Mail Connector in place of BIS/OWA are if you don't have OWA access or that you want instant delivery of messages without the 15-min delay.
