I've run Microsoft's timezone update software for Outlook and the WinXP DST fix. Still having the same problem.
Any suggestions?

- As noted above, Desktop Manager 4.2 is the only version that is compliant. For older versions, just turn off all Date/Time updating under Intelesync - both Sync and Automatic Actions!
- On your BB, go to (Settings/Tools -->) Options. The first item should be 2007 DST Patch. If it isn't, get it:
- On your BlackBerry, using your Internet or BlackBerry Browser, go to http://www.blackberry.com/2007dst. After the page loads, wait about 15 seconds and the page will advance to the Download page. If you get a message that your device isn't supported, it's probably either because you have scripting disabled, or your running 3.x firmware. You must have 4.x firmware.
- On a computer that you have sufficient right to install an ActiveX control, IE 5.5 or later, a USB cable and port, go to:
BlackBerry DST Patch Loader
Once there, you'll be instructed on installing the Patch Loader ActiveX component. Once done, plug up your BB and follow the directions.
- If the first option IS 2007 DST Patch, click it for its status.
- If your device needs to be reset, it will say so.
- If it says install failed, pull your battery and put it back in and check it again. If it still says it failed, try one of the two methods above again.
- If the 2007 DST Patch reports that it has been applied and you're still having time problems, go to Options --> Date/Time. Make sure you have the correct time zone (!) and that you're set to sync your time with the Network. I've seen a few postings where syncing with BlackBerry was not resetting the time properly.
- And of course, if all else fails and you haven't tried it yet, pull the battery!
