It definitely did -- the upgrade delete a bunch of things (plasmic_theme_reader jumped out at me) and migrated a bunch of others, and I know I saw it restore net_rim_timezone blahblahblah.

I'm gonna delete the patch from my device before upgrading to see what happens. I can always add the patch file back later if needed, but I thought bby said that 4.2.1.x didn't need an explicit patch... that it was backed into the OS.

Yeah let us know what you find -- I'd love to just delete the module if I don't need it anymore...
