I am with Rogers and as you know Canadian BB service is expensive. So I did some research and some ppl are using RIM hardware with the BB Connect plans (7MB monthly quota instead of a measly 1 MB).

I swapped mine over, it works well with email, etc... and I don't use a BES so I don't lose OTA syncing.

However, I have been told the data is charged differently. I fgure since I am using a RIM device it always uses the blackberry.net APN, right?
