Take a look over at the 8100 forum. The Pearl suffers from a memory leak where it doesn't release system memory after it's been used and the result is a loss of data, like emails, messages, and phone logs. I had a Pearl for awhile and suffered the issue out of the box. Not a huge thing, but an annoyance nonetheless.
