I'm not using the redirector for anything

POP accounts do NOT reconcile, and pulling that email into your OUTLOOK inbox will do nothing but clutter it up (and probably tick off your IT people too) - just like the BlackBerry's Messages (uggh!). It will NOT SYNC that way. The BES monitors the EXCHANGE SERVER - NOT Your Outlook OST/PST.

The only "sync" operation available on POP accounts is if you delete on your BB and select to delete on Mailbox, the email will be deleted from the POP server's inbox - and, BTW, be irrevocably deleted - it is NOT sent to the Trash or Deleted Items. Simply put, there is no email synchronization available with BIS.
