Hi read through the thread today, and did get my laptop communicating with my 8700. Called Cingular to upgrade to the “Tethered modem” service. It rejects my connection, Error 73 I think.

I was on the phone with Cingular level 3 technical support for about 2 hours today, they could not get it working. Somebody is suppose to call me in the morning.
