It looks similar but it's not the same keyboard. This keyboard is dual standard so it will work with BB AND other smartphones/pda's like Palm etc. The ThinkOutside Shasta won't. Also, this keyboard has programmable Fn keys for shortcuts. I would venture to say that the actual keyboard shell is probably made by the same company but beyond that they're quite different. Also, I don't know about the ThinkOutside folks but the support from Freedom Input team makes this keyboard great.
