Hi All

I am new to this forum so need some serious hand holding

I have a 8700g on T-Mobile UK and having downloaded and installed the latest version of the Blackberry Desktop Manager v. 4.2.1.8 I thought it would be great to download some ringtones to the device.

However, when I try to do that via Media Manager is complaints with the following error :

"The connected BlackBerry device does not support transferring media files. Verify that the device has BlackBerry Device Software 4.2 or later installed."

So I searched on the T-Mobile web site but all they have for me to download is v. 4.1.0.286 but what I need on the device as far as I can tell from the above error message is v. 4.2 as a minimum to be able to send media files down to my BB.

So, what do I need to do to get my hands on v4.2 that works on my T-Mobile ?
