Not to start anything here, but the standard answer of "security risk" just doesn't fly anymore when it comes to standard features. When the Pearl came out, many were asking why the device did not support BT A2DP. What was the answer by those in the know? Security risk.
Now look at the Curve coming out; it supports A2DP. Has the security risk been dissolved somehow? No, it's called feature evolution. BlackBerry devices simply do not support HTML email. But I have a feeling that it's coming down the road, maybe sooner than later.
I don't know. It seems to me that RIM is committed to adding features to upcoming devices that everyone around this forum wants to call security risks. Maybe the simple answer should be "No, not supported right now."
