I'd recommend discussing this with your IT department rather than trying to circumvent IT policy. They placed the policy for a reason, whether you agree with it or not. There are companies that treat this as an offense that can lead to disciplinary action.

If you want full control of your Blackberry then buy one and keep it off the company BES. You don't want private data on a company BES-connected BB anyway.
