Question 8800/8700 Browser configuration issue? - 05-31-2007, 06:19 AM

I have recently upgraded to the 8800 from the 8700 and have noticed the same issue that I experienced with the 8700. We have a 3rd party application that we use via our Blackberries for sales. This is accessed via the browser so I think this is a browser issue. I have 4 (3 8700's and my 8800) users and 2 do not have this issue. The issue is this. The application we use displays screens via the browser that list products, clients, orders, etc. On one particular screen/page you have 3 columns of cells where you input the reference number, the quantity, and the price. On my old 8700 and the new 8800 those cells appear at about 4 mm wide. Which is to say very small. On two of the other 8700's they appear at about 12 mm wide which is wide enough to see the numbers you are inputting. I have sat a working 8700 side by side with my old 8700 and now with the new 8800 and have made all settings equal under browser config and general config. I have tried different views and browsers. I have wiped the 8800 clean and tried to start from scratch. All of this without result. I called Vodafone support yesterday - I am in Spain - and had the tech log into my website where he displayed the exact 4 mm cell like I have. He was baffled and had no clue. I can't understand what this might be. If it is the 3rd party application how can it work on some blackberries and not on others? Anyone have any knowledge of something like this? I am going nuts over this and have tried all I know and the Vodafone tech didn't know what to do.
