This is a quick guide on how to play Texas Hold 'em King 2 online. Online play is really rewarding. There's something about winning against real people that makes it way more fun than the already-fun standalone game.

There are lots of ways to enjoy Hold ‘em online, if you play your cards right you can even win some great prizes like poker-skinned iPod Nanos, iPod Shuffles, poker chip sets, and poker DVDs.

Get Connected:
Click on the MULTIPLAYER button in the main menu to go to the multiplayer menu. You don’t need a PC to sign up for an account; it can all be done from your device. Click LOGIN, then CREATE ACCOUNT to get started, later you can login to magmic.com to configure your account, change your in-game avatar, and check your other Magmic games high scores.

Play Money, Real Prizes
-Street Cred Contest
Build your stacks and your reputation in THK2's longest running monthly contest. Those who amass the most cash during the month can win great Prizes like poker-skinned iPod Nanos, poker chip sets, and poker DVDs.

The Street Cred Contest is a single player contest where the player who posts the most cash by the end of the month wins the top prize. To play, go to MULTIPLAYER, CONTESTS, and then JOIN PUBLIC from the THK2 main menu. Check this page often to view everyone’s progress.

-Beat the Pro Contest
Beat the Pro is a Multiplayer contest that you can play on our Public Tables. Every couple of months there’s a new Poker Pro for you to find, play, and beat for prizes. This month’s Poker Pro is Bounty Bob of Miner 2049er fame.

After months of searching through futuristic radioactive mines, Bounty Bob kicks back with his little know hobby: Texas Hold ‘em. Bounty Bob’s bold hold ‘em style often makes people wonder whether or not really has a hand. Rarely is there a situation in which Bounty Bob doesn’t place a hefty bet to see where his opponents are at.

Bust Bounty Bob and you’ll receive a radiation-green iPod Shuffle. You’ll find Bounty Bob in the $1000 public tables from 3 to 4pm Eastern (6 to 7pm Pacific)

Online Controls
Playing against live opponents brings a different spirit of play than in the standalone game. Chatting, taunting, and trash talk are all part of the experience too! If you’d like to chat, press the message button (usually the “M”) and type away. Make sure not to do it while it’s your turn to act because it slows down the pace of the game.
