I'm eagerly awaiting the release of the 8830 on Sprint this weekend and would like to ask of those who've ordered from Sprint online before how the process goes? I'm assuming it's as easy as locating the phone on the website and ordering it - but this is Sprint we're talking about, after all.

I'm planning on replacing my 8703 with the 8830, so I'll be using my same mobile number and just porting it to the new device as renewing my 2-year contract (to get all the discounts).

Any words of wisdom (short of "wait till it hits the retail outlets and buy it from a store"!)?
