So if I 'understand' correctly, you want to ADD a touch screen to go along with a keyboard? Just adds more crap for things to go wrong and increases the price or a item that functions fine as it is without it. What I don't understand is how it 'eases' productivity? The keyboard / trackball combination works fine. I would be hesitant myself to get the model with the thumb wheel on the side but again, I can't say much about it since I haven't tried it.
If RIM wants to add a model with touch screen I say fantastic. I could care less either way. Just as long as they create a BB without it.
