In case anyone else runs into this:

Uncaught exception:net.rim.device.api.system ControlledAccessException

This is being caused by leaving the Gmail mobile app running in the background and then putting the BB to sleep. When it comes out of sleep the above error is received very frequently. If the gmail app is shut down (on the menu it is Exit Gmail) the error doesn't show up so far for us (although we thought it occurred once due to Google Maps but haven't confirmed). If you exit the app with the escape key on the BB it leaves it running in the background. We could reproduce this on 4 different Sprint 8830's...I haven't checked the Curve I have here yet for the same behavior. Anyone else experience this with the Sprint unit at all?
