Null pointer errors are apparently to do with address book. Use application loader to clear and then reinstate
Also above error displays when Namimail version and BlackBerry OS version mismatch occurs. For OS 4.1x, Namimail 1.2x version needs to be installed. (Namimail v.1.1x is for OS 4.0x). Just keep trying higher version till you get one that works
Added November 7th 2007:
With the latest version of Namimail 2.2.1 we can use the 4.2 firmware and this combination seems to eliminate errors of this sort.
