I believe that is the BlackBerry Maps application that comes with the BlackBerry. I believe you can remove it using the Desktop Manager application.

Once the Desktop Manager application is installed (I am using v4.2 SP1), launch the Application Loader module. Click Next, and then the screen should show the list of Applications installed. Scroll down in the list and find BlackBerry Maps. Uncheck it and then click Next, then Finish.
