I just got a new 8800 last week. Two issues

1) When I am using GPS the screen dims itself. I have gone into setup and set it to the max, 2 minutes. But I have a car charger so I am not converned about the batter. I want it to never dim while I am using GPS. Can I do this?

2) Telenav seems to always come on with volume at the max. I would not mind that except that the speakers are pretty distorted at that volume such that I cannot even understand what the lady is saying. Are my speakers bad or does everyone get this distortion?
