I'm looking to do the same thing on my 7100g.

I've got it synched with my Outlook through Blackberry Enterprise Server. My calendar is synched too. While it's good to know what's in my calendar, I don't want the calendar pop-ups to occur on my Blackberry.

Any help would be great.
