On August 13th, a new software will be available on t-mobile.com/bbupgrade for the 8100.

The new SW, version 4.2..1.103, will fix the following issues:

Daylight Savings Patch (DST2007) – The new software will now included the DST2007 Patch
Audio - 2-5 second incoming audio delay
ABC indicator stuck on home screen
Reboot problem when switch to a blue tooth headset while on phone
Disappearing/Missing Call logs, SMS, Email and MMS messages
Freeze Issues
myFaves empty/transparent icon
Keypad unlocks at will
Voice only customers will now have access to the Instant Messaging application
To ensure customers download this new software, we will be sending out a sms message to Pearl users advising them to go to t-mobile.com/bbupgrade to download the new software

In order to prevent calls to customer care, the online instructions on how to download the handheld and desktop software has been updated to include screen shots and step by step instructions. [/font]
