ok - well I downloaded the files to update my desktop manager and it wouldn't update my phone. I couldn't even find a button or setting to activate the update of my phone to 4.2

I get a message that lets me know that I don't have a phone running 4.2...but nothing. I even followed the instructions here

and when I get to the part that should let me update, it's grayed out and tells me the software isn't on there to update it....but I've tried two different downloads. I hate this blackberry download site because i've followed links and ended up at two seperate files to download... ::shrugg::

any help is much appreciated
