Thanks for the quick response. OK, when I check that I see that the following programs are open:

Phone logs, BB Messenger, Browser and Messages.

I closed BB Messenger and the Browser but they're still showing as running. Will those four always stay running?

As far as the late ringer, I too only see a one- to two-second delay before the ring kicks in....
