Only 2 carriers offer 3G in the US (Verizon and Sprint) and they are CDMA. Verizon's data is about twice what mine is, and to use it as a modem you pay $40 more, so you pay about $85/month total, plus about $50 for voice, way more than the average user will pay. I hope the GSM providers roll out 3G soon and don't make us pay through the nose for it like Verizon tries to do. It's a bad company and I refuse to ever pay them another cent, I don't care what they offer. <forces himself to stop rant>
