My 6GB card appears to be the genuine article. Also got it from The Carphone Warehouse, one of the UK leading retailers.

Even if I format the card on the PC (where it does show 5.7GB available) and put the folders on the card manually, the BB still asks me to re-format.

Can anyone confirm the correct settings in the (PC based) formatting options? FAT or FAT32, 32KB or 4KB cluster size, etc.
