Same problem here - 8700g and i-Blue gps puck. All versions of 4.2.1 from ATT and T-Mobile.

Specifically - The bluetooth connection drops, but the berry still thinks it is active. When it happens, I turn off bt, and turn it back on. That seems to fix it until the next use.
