Model: 7280

When I look at the messages application to see how many new messages I've got (upper right hand corner), the messages will not go below 2 messages, even if I deletes everything. I even checked in all the subfolders to see if I have any messages unread. How can I fix this problem?

What has been done so far:

1. Position the cursor at the top of the messages window and select “Mark Prior Open”.

2. Delete every messege.

3. 3. Got a new replacement device (because the ear piece connection broke).

4. In each of the above cases, I've been unable to go below 2 un read messages.

5. Rebooted Device

I'm lost. Please help
