I had to review and write up a full report for my IT department on why the iPhone didnt fit our needs. The major issues that it lacked for us, was tethered modem, real push solution, non-proprietary connection to PCs (software or cable), durability under business use.

Now, that being said, if an iPhone is released on 3G substantially sooner than a BB, tethering is made possible, 3rd party apps show productivity improvements, and durability questions are put to rest, well then maybe we'll give it another look.

I have said it in another post, but the end result of this "gimmick"/"toy" is RIM's R&D will look at some different things in future version that the iPhone has brought to the market, which is fine by me.
