Easy now. The topic is privacy, so this is very much on topic. You're just playing semantics when you use the big font. Verizon cannot cripple anything that is not on their network, or else they'd be in one heck of a legal battle now wouldn't they? Yes, the rationale for crippling the GPS was that other GPS services weren't secure enough ... which was the entire point of my post. Don't get bent out of shape about it, I'm not making it up. I didn't think you were being cruel, just rude.

And just for the record, I've been a Verizon customer since before the company had that name and before cell phones existed, so yeah, I think I have the right to comment on it. If you disagree, that's fine, but no need to get personal if you disagree with my comment.
