Against my better judgement, I have decided to post. I'm helping test this product, and I don't think I'm breaking any NDA's etc., because the build files are publically available.

I've only been giving feedback for the last week and a half or so (mostly application crashes, and UI/Menu/Configuration "intuitiveness") but the response from the author incorporating suggestions has been great. Of course while I realize that I'm not the only one making suggestions and giving feedback (there are many others), seeing 80% of suggestions make it into the next build is something... no doubt many are asking for the same thing.

Because of the timezone differences involved between feedback and next builds, I'd estimate it's two days turnaround. The author is working hard on this application IMO (like till 3 am his time). This isn't an "install and it works" type application, and because of that, I don't think it can be rushed.

The only fault I might give is that it was announced early and too-optimistic time lines were given. The latest build (as of today) looks good but is still a ways from being finished (author estimates 1 - 2 builds).

Personally, I think it will be worthwhile. I'm already a B&WList user, so I won't be getting anything extra out of it by helping to test. I'd just like to see it do what it's supposed to do, and if I can be a small part of that, great. Even on release, there may be bugs with models and OS's not tested. It happens. \

But let's not hold him to dates and whack him with a bat when he misses them; and give him some time.
