I am curious to see what other people have for service books and their own results with their applications.

These are the service books I have on my unlocked 8320 on Fido network:

BBFS2 [BBIMConfig]
SNTP for Microcell [SNTP]
Google Talk Download [BrowserConfig]
BBFS1 [BBIMConfig]
Provisioning [Provisioning]
Blackberry Internet Browsing Service [BrowserConfig]
IPPP for BIBS [IPPP]
IPPP for 5 Click [IPPP]

Blackberry Help! [BrowserConfig]
Yahoo Client Download [BrowserConfig]
BBFS2 [YHo]
Wi-Fi TCP/IP Browser [BrowserConfig]
Wi-Fi TCP/IP Transport [WPTCP]

These are the applications I have and these are the results:

(The test was done by going to Manage Connections and turning off the mobile network and turning wifi on only)

Opera Mini Wifi: No Edge: Yes
Facebook Wifi: Yes Edge: Yes
Jivetalk Wifi: No Edge: Yes
Gmail Wifi: No Edge: Yes

AIM, Windows Live Messenger and ICQ required service books I didnt have and couldnt be tested.
even though u have mobile off were you on UMA ? I have noticed that if you are on UMA then these things work as your handset can establish the connection with the carriers server.
