As stated above it depends on your carrier. If you are ATT - get the 8310.

If your carrier supports UMA (voip) you have a choice to make. I am very happy having wifi.

And the mapquest navigator "speaks"

EDIT: You are rogers and i don't know if rogers allows UMA calls.
