Default 8800 phone volume problem - 11-10-2007, 09:53 AM

I have perfect sound quality on my 8800 except when I get a call when I'm already on another one. At that time, whether I accept, hold or ignore the call, the volume drops significantly and I can barely hear the other party. It doesn't matter whether I continue with the original caller, or take the new one. It also does not matter whether I put the original caller on hold, drop the original call, or ignore the new one. It also does not matter whether I'm using a headset or holding the phone to my ear. The other party can hear me well, but the volume drops so much for me that I have to disconnect and call again. Painful!

While the volume is perfect ordinarily, it is only when I get a call when I'm talking to another person that this happens. Very frustrating. Any help will be greatly appreciated
