Well I can say sprint is getting a Pearl here soon... But for the Nextel/Sprint blackberry, Q4 is just the latest date, the reason is Qualcomm and Sprint are still working out user rights agreements and patent agreements for RIM to use the qchat technology, they don't want to just hand it out to anyone and have it reverse engineered! Once that's all done then they will make a product and test it. RIM is currently aware of the URGENT want for a new Nextel/Sprint PTT BlackBerry but you must always take into consideration legal ramifications and financial feasibility, to produce a standard or even hybrid BlackBerry costs alot to make! Not to mention the battery life would be wretched! That's why we haven't seen one, just to make a new version past the 7100i would not be feasible, what new features would it have? It would be just as fast as the 7100i on accessing the network. Just some food for thought on that bit.

I already stated that they are Rev. A...

I see... Ya so, sorry about all that, I didn't know that the blackberries were only Rev 0. Though really the difference of 2.4Mbps to 3.1Mbps download and 153kbps to 1.8Mbps isn't a whole lot, except on the upload, but your not really gonna see that much of a noticeable difference on the upload, since there isn't much uploading being done... Maybe RIM is holding back for Rev B with 73Mbps down and 14Mbps up...
