Data over T-Mobile@Home and how to turn off UMA not wi-fi Please Login to Remove! For the technical folks out there, I have been looking for answers for these 2 questions.
1) Blackberry 8320 with no Blackberry plan connected to wifi, we know that you can surf and do emails over wifi, what happens if you subscrible to T-Mobile@Home (UMA) plan, now you have wifi icon on the screen and UMA icon on the screen, I know that the voice calls will now go through UMA but what about data, will I be forced to use data over UMA (from the mobile provider) or will I be still using my local wifi and my own ISP for internet access and emails?
2) Is there a way to turn off UMA from the handset but still be able to use wi-fi? (I haven't been able to figure it out how to do it unless you delete the root certificate that UMA uses within your key store). Is there an easy way?
I can't find any option on the blackberry that I can use to turn
