and Canada allows companies to get away w/ this? I figured they'd be more protective of the consumer.
In the US, if you use the word "unlimited" and then put in the fine print that it's capped, you will still lose a lawsuit. Although you've complied w/ the letter of the law, you've violated the spirit of it. This runs in line w/ advertising an incredible deal on a product, but neglecting to mention that you only have 5 in stock.
