This works... I can make a call via Bluetooth headset (voice dialing) while in my holster

To put the BB in standby, you can press and hold the Mute key on the top of the phone. When you do that, does the BB prompt you to confirm standby, and is the default Cancel or OK?

Works like my older GSM Pearl... Press/Hold Mute... you get a brief warning that its going into standby.. then the screen goes blank...
