Hmm ... I would recommend doing a battery pull for, at most, three to five minutes. If that doesn't work, a manual network select may be the way to go.
If you
still can't connect, I might recommend doing a backup of your device data, then wiping the device via
Settings > Options > Security Options > General Settings, then restoring your device data, and turning the wireless on then.
