Default 8130 on Verizon - sync with outlook (No exchange server)

So I called Verizon data tech support 3 times. Each time I got a different answer - 1st no, then you have to call Blackberry, then yes. Got to believe the answer is here.

No exchange server, just using pop mail on a hosted mail server. Right now with my pocket pc and using Verizon's wireless sync client, I can wirelessly sync email, contacts, appointments, tasks, notes. I'm told that with the blackberry I can't use Verizon's wireless sync client and must use either BIS or a desktop redirector. Acutally, the last verizon tech person said both. I think everyone was consistant in that I can not wireless sync anything but email. Everything else must be via a cable.....and that's ok. But what I couldn't get a consistant answer on was that if I sent an email from my phone, would it wind up in my outlook sent folder on my desktop. Anyone have actual experience and setup recommendations for this.

thanks,

Larry
