Gmail app is a great choice for anyone who does not have BIS. My carrier, for one, does not offer BB services, so I have no choice but to use a 3rd party e-mail client.
And even if you use BIS it's great to have access to
all your mail and be able to search it really quickly and comfortably. I doubt whether I would use the app
instead of BIS if I had the latter but it's certainly a nice addon.
