This is more a Nextel question than it is a Blackberry one, but I figured I'd give it a shot anyway.

I have a friend in Nova Scotia, and I call her from time to time. Last night, I called her from my Nextel as a test. It was after 9pm. Looking at my bill, it appears to have gone into the "Free Nights and Weekends" category. I've never made an international call on Nextel, so I don't know if there's a specific category for them.

My friend's number is 902-532-XXXX and from what she tells me, some carriers see this as a US number.

So the question is: Am I paying 20 cents per minute, or is it rolling into Free Nights and Weekends?

FYI: I called Nextel, and their answer was "It should be International, but it doesn't look like it. You'll know when you get your bill." I love Nextel.

Can anyone w/ a similar experience shed some light on this?
