I currently have a Verizon 6750. It works fine, although the black/white screen and limited memory make it a bit antiquated nowdays. I am planning on upgrading, but would like to venture out of the Verizon fold as I would like to be able to keep communicating with my mostly deaf family when I travel to Europe next month. That basically leaves me with T-mobile or Cingular, I guess... I am a bit leery of the 7100's simply because of the horror stories I've read here about disconnects, etc. But do like the form factor. Anyway, my question is this: How reliable is the 7100g from Cingular? Would I be happier with the 7290 from tmobile? I use the phone occasionally, but the email feature much more often. My wife and daughter both have Sidekick IIs, but I think I'd rather stick with BB. Any comments?
