I am currently using a Jabra BT500 with no issues or problems. I have tried most of the Motorola Bluetooth headsets and found the audio quality lacking and/or BT signal strength very weak.

My personal observations:
Motorola Bluetooth Headset H700 (background noise, weak signal, muddy sound)
Motorola Bluetooth Headset HS850 (background noise, decent signal but had to speak loudly)
Motorola Bluetooth Headset H500 (lots of background noise, weak signal)
Motorola Bluetooth Headset HS820 (background noise, muddy sound)

I would not recommend using stereo headphones for calls, they pick up a lot of background noise and callers barely heard me.

Stereo BT Headsets:
Motorola HT820 Stereo Headphones (great signal strength, good sound, very uncomfortable for me to wear for more than an hour)
Motorola Motorokr S9 Stereo Headphones (poor BT signal strength, fair sound)
LG Bluetooth Stereo Headset HBS-110 (okay signal strength, has wires, fair sound)
LG Bluetooth Stereo Headset HBS-200 (okay signal strength, more comfortable than the HT820 but still not easy on the ears)

I have had no pairing issues with any of the above BT headsets on my 8830. I'm on v4.2.2.176. I am looking to test the Aliph Jawbone soon because of all of the positive remarks I've read and heard.
