Question 8300 stopped working after being dropped

I dropped my curve accidentally (from a desk) and the screen turned blank afterwards... I could actually make calls from the phone but I can't see anything but a blank screen with a blue-ish vertical line going from the top of the screen to the bottom of the screen near the right hand side of the screen. I turned off the phone, unplugged the battery and left it overnight but nothing worked. AT&T won't give me a new one since it was dropped. Any idea what I could do to fix this?
