penguin3107 and rivviepop:

Thanks for the replies. Is there a quick and dirty technical reason why the 8320 cannot be mounted without the sd card? I think I read an earlier post of yours (rivviepop) - which I can't seem to re-locate - where you suggested a manual mount (after adding an entry to fstab) - but that might have been in a situation where the person (you were advising) had an sd card...anyway - any technical insight you might pass along would be welcomed.

I hear you re: the benefits of the sd card - and I also have heard that the 1gb is a "better" card to get because the 2gb "may" be too much for the 8320 to handle....

Thanks for the advice.
