GPS running both Blackberry maps and Google maps on my Pearl 8130/Telus network...and yes it's GPS with the blinking blue dot and arrow showing direction and speed. Google has no choice since it's GPS only but the Blackberry maps uses cell tower triangulation and an optional 'start GPS navigation'. Both tested and works well. Google earth overlay is a real neat feature
