I have two different questions.

One is that, whenever a new item is waiting on my curve, like an email, or a missed call, when I take the phone out of the holster, the item is automatically opened. Is there a way to avoid this?

And as a second question, is there a way to tell for an application, which data plan it uses (like wap or BB data plan?).
