This is untrue. The 8310 DOES have real GPS (has a receiver in it that picks up satellite signal to pinpoint location.) The TeleNav application can use that signal to provide turn by turn directions. You can also use GPS with Google Maps and BBMaps, as well as a collection of others.

The 8320 does NOT have GPS. I use a separate bluetooth GPS receiver with my 8320 and it works with TeleNav and the other free GPS applications.

Regardless of the method of receiving the GPS signal, it is REAL GPS.
