Default Just a suggestion?

I could see two issues; the first one is to confirm that your data plan is working. You can easily check this by browsing a website. As long as you navigate to a site, you should be good here.

As second step, make sure that you're outdoors. GPS needs a clear line of site in all directions to get a fix on a the satellites. It could take several minutes for it to get a signal for the very first time. Five minutes should be enough.
